They promised to reopen ASAP... Having said that it's very dependent upon State Legislature and them being pushed hard enough to finally come up with a credible solution. The more people who contact their local legislators the sooner it will occur. I recommend you give a phone call to your congressmen and congresswomen ASAP so as to assist all of us.

there aren't any recreational shops yet, i believe it will be in 2020. Also i am under the impression that you need a Michigan Medical Marijuana card to buy, because they are a ~medical~ dispensary.

The ballot proposal voters approved this past November specifically said the state government MAY charge a 10% marijuana tax.
The ballot proposal was mute on wether that is instead of, or in addition to the sales tax.
