Its not legal until December 6th, but regardless you will never be able to go into a Michigan medical marijuana dispensary without a medical card even once it is legal. Recreational shops require a different license to operate and cant even get their pot from medical caregivers, only thru people with licenses to grow and sell legal recreational pot, which will basically be treated and regulated as a seperate thing from the states medical marijuana program. Those places dont really exist yet and since theyre still working out the fine details of the law on them, they probably will not (at least in/around metro detroit) until late 2019/2020.
Only Medical Card at this time. Decriminalized as of December 6 will not be available for the public until about 2020. Sorry.
