I went to this restaurant on 6/27/22 purchased a chicken salad it was horrible the salad was brown and old the chicken was cold and looked like it was eaten out of, I spoke to management and he told me to bring it back the next day so I did but I made the mistake of not checking it before I left and lord behold it was the same salad, when I called the manager she got rude and hung up. That place is run by children that run around and play on their phones and don't pay attention, this same day I took the salad back one of the child employees picked up the dressing I had brought back and put it in another customer's bag I tried stopping her but her response in a rude tone was this isn't your food. I usually go to the one in Royal Oak where the service is A1 never had an issue.

I placed an online order to pick up at the Piquette store and there were 2 items missing. I called the store not even an hour after I picked it up and they said they had no record of my order even though I was there not even an hour before. I offered the order number on my receipt and the manager refused to take it. It was a $100 order, I gave a small tip, and was pretty much told it's my problem, not theirs. I only wanted my ~$15 refunded for the 2 items and I was told to drive back to the store (30 miles) OR call DoorDash (!?!?!?!) who did NOT take my order. I placed the order online and have an account with BUCHAREST GRILL, not DoorDash, but was told they have NO RECORD of my order even though it was ready when I got there (??). I have frequented Bucharest Grill for YEARS and this is absolutely a deal breaker for me. I know it's only $15, but how can a business stay solvent when the customers are treated rudely and inconvenienced when the store rushes orders and gets them incorrect and then turn around to BLAME the customer for not checking? How about the workers check the order?

I absolutely love the food here, no other shawarma comes close to theirs. I stop and get it every time I take my dad or grandfather down to Karmanos up the street. Don't trust the take out time, the last few times I have been told 20 minutes, I showed up in 15 and still waited 20 more minutes there. $50 for a 6 pack of beef is getting up there. I'm gonna have to back it down to 2 and not have extras for the week.

Friendly staff, quick service considering the time of day (12:15pm), tasted great, still difficult to eat while driving. Wish I could get no tomatoes on 1 when ordering the 6 pack.

Plastic partitions at counters all servers and cashiers are masked, and there are no chair inside the restaurant
