Today was the third time in a row that I bought something at Bootlegger's in Greenfield and nobody said thank you. It makes me uncomfortable. Like they don't care if I buy anything or not. I said "thank you" thinking this might jog their memory after checking out, but they just said "you're welcome". I spent $350 on shoes, but even if I had bought a pair of socks, I would expect it. I don't say anything to the clerk because I don't want to embarrass them or make them feel uncomfortable. As a small business owner in Greenfield, It's just sort of unthinkable for me not to thank someone for buying in my store. It's so easy to buy things online. They are never busy at the Greenfield Bootlegger's, so it's not like people were running around and just forgot to be pleasant. I'll be honest, I don't shop at this store because I think it's the greatest store. The selection and availability of sizes is not great. I shop there because it's in my town and convenient.
