Holyoke Medical Center: Emergency Room

Waited 8 hours in the waiting room across from an elderly woman with a bleeding trachea who had been there for 9 hours prior to me. A gentleman that had been there for 14 hours stated he had just tested positive for covid and was unsure why they still hadnt released him or even what he was waiting for as they had done two blood tests already. As a diabetic who had a massive infection hearing he had covid and was told to sit in the waiting room with all of us (and waiting for hours) I was done and left. Went to Cooley Dickenson ER where I spent a total of two hours in a much cleaner hospital with much much nicer staff. After what I saw I truly think Holyoke ER is doing it on purpose.

First and last time I come to this emergency room, more than 2 hours in the room for the doctor to come and she doesn't show up and the nurses tell her that there is a patient waiting for her and she doesn't even show up. Very bad wait
