If you want to be racially profiled, this is the place for you! My mom and I decided to take my two-year-old son to Drazen orchards on September 14th, so he could experience apple picking for the first time. Upon arrival, we were questioned rather than greeted. The Korean woman asked if we had an appointment and followed was a gentleman who questioned why we were there. These two were not friendly, and I sensed we were trying to be pushed out the door to leave. The gentleman asked if we were looking to get honey crisp apples or what types of apples. I mentioned Granny Smith apples since that is our household favorite . The gentleman tells us we can select the Granny Smiths from the market counter. I’m sure I made a face because Mr. happy pants snapped, saying, “you need to tell me what you want, so I can tell you where to go.” I was there for my son to experience an orchard and not to argue over apples, so I settled for honey crisp. He handed us a bag and a bucket and said their minimum is $18 a bag, and then he proceeded to tell us where to walk. “Follow the yellow tape to the left, don’t go under the tape, row 23 for honey crisp.” Although I find that to be overpriced, we continued because I believe in supporting local businesses and will spend the money to do so. During our walk up to the apple trees, my mom and I began talking about how rude that man was but gave him the benefit of the doubt, saying maybe he was getting frustrated because I was getting frustrated by him interrogating us. We walk up to the top, but my son decides he doesn’t want to head towards the row we were instructed to go to. We turned around and headed back towards the market to return the bucket without any apples. We arrived back, and we were asked, “how did you do?” I explained that we didn’t pick any apples because my son didn’t want to go toward that area. That gentleman rolls his eyes and walks away. The Korean woman said, “next time, don’t come back.” I couldn’t believe that had come out of her mouth. I told her it wasn’t necessary to say that, but don’t worry, we won’t be back, and I’ll make sure to tell everyone I know and post this all over social media. When I began browsing the reviews online, I noticed a pattern… all the negative reviews on all media platforms (yelp, Facebook, google) are from Hispanics sharing their same experiences. Rude and interrogation and all about the same individuals. And then I continue browsing and see this is something that’s been going on for years. I hope this ends here, and no one else experiences what we did. Furthermore, I will keep to my word and make sure I let everyone I know not to go here, and I’ll post it on all of my social media platforms to ensure word gets out to all the public.

(IT WAS TERRIBLE) the guy was so rude to us and rushing us to leave. Then he wants to talk about us to the lady at the cashier. We felt so uncomfortable. We took our kids for the first time apple picking and we didn't enjoy not even one bit of it. We felt so uncomfortable. This will be the first and last time we will go there. We returned our apples we didn't want it, after we payed we returned the apples we just couldn't keep them we just wanted to get out of there. We felt bad for the cashier lady she was nice. All we wanted to do was enjoy our 2 kids that was their first apple picking also have a 3 year old that didn't want to leave he will not understand why we had to go not fair to the kids. Like we said never ever again. That guy was terrible, disgusting.

Great staff, very accommodating with allowing us to use our own containers to pick berries to cut down on plastic waste. Abundant picking and massive sweet blackberries!

Favorite place for apples, blueberries, and peaches. The staff is super friendly and their fruit is amazing. One of the easiest 5-stars I’ve ever given.

Are customers allowed to collect fallen peaches for pie making? Or does the orchard offer "pie' peaches? The peaches that fall ripe from the tree make the best pies.

Depending on availability, the Orchard sells already picked very ripe peaches at half price.
