There is plenty of free parking but this is a 99 cent store. It could be better organized and it is a little bit worn down, but I don't go there for the experiences I go there for the prices. And they have plenty of material and Goods at excellent prices. Look for the items that are above $0.99 but are still at a great discount compared to regular retail. More and more items are not 99 cents. One person in front of me had zero 99 cent items. You get when you get at a 99 cent store, but you know what they're there for, the price.

Many good finds from, fresh fruit & vegetables, frozen & dairy section, bread, chips, household items, birthday decorations, dental & bathroom hygiene items, holiday items for each season, many things to furnish your place. Great finds to detail your car and or little gadgets for you car. Plenty of parking. Many little shops around including a Pollo Loco if you're looking for a meal. Usually busy so expect a 5-10 minute wait. Handicap parking and wheelchair accessible. Plenty of parking.

Shopping experience was OK, but getting back to the car with purchases is another story. Unless you find a close parking space the cart locks up and you are stuck with heavy items, a lot of items or a combination a long distance from your vehicle. Why can't they change the locking parameter to include the entire parking lot not just their small section. ** A fun place to check out but their shopping cart problem is still there. We saw a lady talking to a 99c employee and she said her cart locked up and when she took part of her stuff to her car someone took the rest of her items. The employee said he saw it happen but at that time didn't know they were stealing her merchandise. The lady was in tears. If 99c store would set their cart-lock perimeter it would benefit their customers.

Went to the one on Reseda and Nordhoff first and found the store empty. They closed that location. So you have to shop the Tampa and Parthenia location. It's a nice clean store but beware not everything is 99¢ anymore. However you will find some great deals there.
