Poor experience from start to end. The young hostesses did not have a clue about when tables would be ready, giving contradictory statements. We decided to go for a take out: a friend ordered a lobster roll for 37$!! And it was the tiniest roll I have seen in new England. My wife ordered a poke for 23$, and added a supplement of rice for 2$. I kid you not, you could literally count the rice grains smudged around the poke. The poke itself was drowned in a creamy sauce that completely overwhelmed the other flavors. I do not recommend: expensive for tiny portions and bad food.

Shea's is a classic on the causeway. Food is consistently good and view of the marsh/river at high tide is beautiful. Parking can be tricky and there is an auxiliary lot on opposite side of street closer to CK Pearl. Exterior of restaurant has been freshend up, interior is ready for a similar off season project. Staffing is difficult seemingly everywhere these days, however the members of the team at Shea's are very customer oriented...

Seafood is fresh, everything is delicious. Drinks are tasty. View of the river is beautiful. Our waitress was lovely. Other staff could've been friendlier and place could've been cleaner.

Excellent food, service and most definitely the table looking out over Essex River and the marsh at high tide!!! I remember fishing in this river 40 -50 years ago.
