Classic New England Boardwalk and Beach - from arcades to ice cream, sand castles to surf, festivals to concerts, and fireworks in between - there's a little something for everyone and anyone looking to satisfy their longing for that quintessential summertime vibe. Sure it's not Cape Cod or Caribbean, but those aren't day trips either! Check out HamptonBeach.org for the latest events, beach cams, seasonal suggestions.

I've been here so many times I've lost count. Great beach for family, if you want sun, swim, play, or exploring the rocks. The boardwalk has everything you could ask for, all the "family beach food" and clubs, stores, and arcades. Parking can be difficult on sunny days so come early or expect to drive around a couple times. This trip was for the yearly sandcastle contest, highly recommend if you've never seen it

Beautiful ocean, sand, rocks, all of it is beautiful. There is lots of parking and the beach is long, but come earlier in the dayif you want a spot close to the entrance. The sand castle competition was going on and the sculptures were amazing.

Very nice beach...great wave action and on particularly good days is popular with surfers! Almost like two beaches actually-- sandy and great for swimming to the south, and rocky and made for exploring to the north. Sidenote: very, very popular for walking dogs...I like dogs as much as the next person though like happens so many place they get a bad rep b/c of inconsiderate owners who don't pick-up after them.

No reservations needed. Fun for all ages.. Beach is clean and water is refreshing. Best shop is the Air Brushed shirts. They also have a fantastic character that has been working the boardwalk for 30 years.
Yes I was there 8/2 from 11PM to 215am was a lot of people in the water swimming.
Yes but I have seen them on the regular beach on leashes. As well.
C st parking lot is the easiest and fastest for us
Animals allied on walkway, but not on beach sand unless they are a service animal.
I think you can, but only at certain times. I was just there at North Beach at 7:30am and people were walking their dogs.
I was there a week ago and they had a lot of things open and one of the bigger bathrooms. It was nice and quiet and it looked like they were cleaning up the beach from the looks of it.
Yes, they have restrooms, showers, and small private stalls to change.
The state has a location for campers i dont know about tents.
A large portion of the residential and commercial property lots (namely between Ashworth Ave and Ocean Blvd from A to Q street) were under a 99 year lease that expired in 1997 transferring ownership back to the town. Interesting story. http://www.hampton.lib.nh.us/hampton/history/beach/stormcloudsoverhampton.htm
Ive never seen any unclothed people there. Im not 100% sure but Im gonna hafta answer FALSE.
Only one weekend a year. But im not sure when that is. It may be on the Hampton Beach website.
The temps are really good it's not bad people were swimming in the water lot of the shops are closed down but some are open till December a couple the arcades are open. This is the perfect time and season to go if you don't like crowds
There's no campground its a beach
No bait shops on the boardwalk, but maybe across the bridge on other side. May want to stop at a bait shop before getting on beach
No sure, you should call directly
At the hotels it is
Not that far at all. If you go to the end of the beach theres a camping ground. Me and my wife discovered it one year when we walked the whole beach/water line all the way to the end that the mini golf course is. And if there full there I also know there are more places that are not far from the beach at all. Walking distance for sure. Could also go to the information center by the beach bathrooms and they will give you exact details directions prices and hours.
Depends where you park? If it is a nice day it might be harder to find something. Good luck!
It is usually the second week of june.
Not sure check their website
Honestly there didnt seem to be many public places open mostly restaurants
11pm it closes at that time but reopens in morning police cruise the beach at night and kick people off it
There is a camping site at the beginning of the beach
No sadly you can not
The half-shell bandstand at the state beach has bench seating that would accommodate 100. Ashford by the Sea is a hotel and banquet facility right across the street from the beach that may also accommodate 100
That's so disrespectful. I don't know
Parking is FREE on ANY of the "LETTER STREETS" anytime, any day and in the town's metered lots from 12midnight until 8am. Even though not free there are multiple privately owned lots with reasonable rates to park, I've seen as low as $10.00 all day straight through 1am which is cheaper than meters during that time.
No but you could go to Salisbury State Park on the other side of the Massachusetts side of the Border which is not too far from Hampton Beach! You can have anything from a small tent to a giant camper and they have electrical hookups at a dumping station and hot showers! Hope this helps enjoy the summer!
I saw a bunch of tents there just this past weekend?
Yes if u pay the park meter I'm sure u can.
Yes and the handicapped can park anywhere for free. As long as it's not a hotel parking spot
