I have nothing but the best to say about lovely Matulaitis. Our mom had to go to another rehab facility covered by health insurance, and we saw what it's like when they're run by a corporation and squeezing every penny out. Matulaitis is in another galaxy in contrast: run by nuns who clearly view long-term care as their calling and staff who treat residents with dignity and compassion. Staff is incredibly experienced. For example, the admissions counselor knew instantly after talking with us which wing and head nurse would be best to care for Mom. They tailored her care to her specific needs and challenges. They did an amazing job during COVID and found ways to allow us to video chat. I will always be thankful that a place like Matulaitis still exists and pray that it still does when it's my turn. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Poor nursing facility with poor care. Don't send loved one there! Family member was patient there and stated they were not attentive to their needs. Short staffed, some employees very rude when informed about issues. Go elsewhere for better nursing/rehab care.

Received minimal care and very slow to respond to arising medical issues. Suppose to be in rehab and get PT but a joke. They decided to insert a catheter which led to profuse bleeding and how I am admitted to the hospital. Will never go back!
