Beautiful place to go for a nice walk! Well shaded with a paved road to walk on unless you want to go off trailing! I have gone here a few times and each time I’m amazed by the beauty :)

I'd put it on par with the Middlesex Fells as a great spot to get out in the woods and not stray too far from the city. Lots of trails some bring you to hills which see the city skyline. My favorite part were the paths circling the two ponds, which was especially scenic.

This reservation is beautiful. From its breathtaking trails, the beautiful lakes, and the awe-inspiring views, this park is a definite must see if passing through or staying in the small town of Wakefield, Mass. Parking is free near the …

Very nice reservation with well-maintained paths and lots of off-road trails. Fall colors should be prime in a couple of weeks.

Yes, but get there early. There are maps which can show you where they're located. Enjoy!
And there are actually two lakes an upper and lower. The one with the beach is the lower lake I believe.
Yes. I have seen people mountain biking on the trails
6 life guards melissa abreu and they allways leave at 6:00 pm
No there not, but they are packed down nice so walking is not that bad, me, my wife, and our fur baby go there every day, just about and we even take the back paths and they are not even that bad, its better to walk in the snow it's a better workout, I hope that helped you with your question,
There is people swimming already but there is no lifeguard on duty.
Awwwh, that's so nice. Congrats to them. Well, I am not entirely sure if that is allowed or can be allowed. Although I do not see any reason why it shouldn't be allowed, I would check with the authority their. If you are just considering asthetics and space, I believe there are so many spots with beautiful scenery especially the beach side for such occasion. Congrats to them once again.
About a 20 minute walk from the Saugus entrance
To the best of my knowledge you should be able to just go, I havent heard of anyone reserving anything there. As far as food, you can definitely bring food and drinks in, just be sure to take all trash out with you. I would call DCR regarding grilling there. They would be able to answer your questions better.
Depends on how long you want to hike. I have been there for 30 minutes or 3 hours. From the High School Parking Lot it's a 20 minute or less walk to the lake.
Yes it is called Bark Place. As you drive in, park, and walk starting on the right. Otherwise you will have to walk around a lot to get there. Depends on your dog's energy capacity. Quickest route is starting on the right.
There is a waterfall there and a bench for you to sit down at.
No
I've fished in the lower lake but have only been able to catch small fish that fit in the palm of your hand. Good place for beginners
They are allowed in all areas. As long as they are ok and probably leashed.
Not really, but people bring it in in containers that water or soda might. If you are drinking rowdiness is not tolerated.
The main path is a paved loop, so as long as everyone has working brakes, you should be in good shape.
There is a ranger station that lists activities and provides information. Restrooms are located on the left side of the ranger station. There is also an outside kiosk that has info as well. Both are located right next to front entrance
They have a fall harvest festival for the kids. Free. Ranger station has more details
I believe its open during daylight year round
