I called ahead to see if I could get some Senegalese Twists done. We conversed and she asked if I wanted that done today and I responded with if possible yes. She told me if I come right now I’ll get it done. I show up (took a $30 Uber) and they look at me like why am I even here. So I tell them we just spoke on the phone and this is what I want with my hair (I show a photo from their website no less). She looks at me an says we can’t do that today how about tomorrow. I reiterate that we just spoke and you told me to come over. To which a customer tells me they told her the same thing and she’s been sitting for over an hour waiting. After that the two woman who were doing hair start talking about something (not in English) and the lady looks back at me and says I’ll call you at 4:30 to do your hair. I asked if I could wait there since I didn’t want to have to Uber back home and then back to the shop (that would’ve costed $75 alone). She looks at me confused and goes I’ll call you at 4:30 and I asked her again can I wait here. That got me know where. She didn’t seem to understand.They then tell me “we have another shop here is the address for the other shop you go there.”Funny enough that shop was closed today (I called before I went over). This is super ridiculous and unprofessional. I called ahead and they lied. I wish I could get that Uber money back 😩
