The worse experience, no person at the counter, no car even with reservation. Very cheap dirty way of taking reservation. I was told to wait a few more hours just to see if they even have a car available. Will have to go back and tell my company how bad this reservation through the company turned out.

Giant Queue, an employee to attend, many, many people, the Check on line is useless because anyway you have to wait in the queue

Friendly and quick staff and at the counter, but only one person at the parking garage to take over the car. We had to wait 15-20min and only 2 other customers before us. More than 200$ to rent a GPS is very high. Almost new and clean cars.

Boston Logan Airport alamo is the slowest worst car rental I have ever used at an airport. The shuttle is not well marked. Makes multiple stops with no announcements. Then you get in and the automated machines don't work (everyone in li e stepped out and tried it) because 1 person is working the counter. Then you get through that to walk upstairs to another line to get your car. It's marked for 2 other companies (not alamo) and then you wait in line 40 minutes to get the car where one employee is doing everything while 8 stand around. I travel for work so I've seen alot, but this is hands down the worst

Online or their offices at Airports
There is a bus that after you pick up your luggage takes you to the rent a car Alamo bus route 33 I was very well attended even though I am not fluent in English I was very well attended
Yes Is a free public transit bus.
Take the shuttle #22 ( should be the number) it will take you to the rental car area. Very easy
Look for the shuttle or call the Hilton desk to ask for a shuttle
I think any full sized sedan or SUV should have room for two car seats in the back seat. It depends how many other people you've got with your party. They have SUVs with seating for 7-8. Best.
They will ask you about getting one. Believe it's an upfront $4 to $5 charge
It depends on the location. At the airport in Boston, I believe it is 24 hours for rental cars. I came in with a flight after midnight in Boston, and got a car with Alamo. But, call to double check.
Call and ask them
Yes, but some larger vehicles are not allowed cross-border. Here's from Alamo.com: Most vehicles rented in the US can be driven throughout US and Canada. Some vehicle classes like Exotics, Large Passenger or Cargo Vans, and other specialty vehicles may not be allowed to travel outside of the US. Please reach to the renting location directly for details on cross-border restrictions.
Yes
Best to call them and find out, cost do change time to time
Yes
Possible but charges could be high for drop off at another point.
Not sure...we had it at no cost with our upgrade...we usually just use our phone for directions...
Make sure that the particular shuttle goes to the Rental Car Facility, as there are a couple of routes. It lists the stops on the front of it.
Logan airport if in Boston
Depends on car etc
I think Enterprise used to advertise vehicle drop off. You may want to try them.
I believe you can; however, they do need a security hold so that could lock up a large amount of funds in your account. I'd check with them. I did read that another reason they prefer credit cards is because having only a debit card could mean you're a credit risk to them.
Yes just be sure they know that on your reservation. They'll usually have one person working both the Alamo and National counter together but that's true for all the rental companies that late at Boston
