I called them the Rhode Island food bank and from what I understand they were giving out turkeys donating turkeys and stuff and I called them and I asked them if they would help me with a turkey and some food for Thanksgiving and Christmas they told me no they don't help individuals isn't that really sad that's really rotten

Yes - there's a big bin in the lobby area for donations.
You need to be one of the member organizations that distribute to the community, otherwise you go to your local pantries and are able to receive food free. There is no fee to apply to become a member.

In Providence the best place to go is Gloria Dei Church 5 days a week 10am to 1pm. You need to bring your own bags.
Go to any food pantry in your area and sign up for their food service. You can't get food directly from Food Bank. Look RI Food Bank up on internet and they have a list of all the food pantries etc in the state

No you can not get food at the RI FOOD BANK you have to go to a FOOD PANTRY in your area call RI FOOD BANK ask for near food pantries to you
