Sadly, my letter carrier retired last fall. He was so appreciated! Gary, we miss you. Since then, nearly every day we have a different carrier. Mail is often misplaced or not delivered at all. Sometimes the "substitute carrier" may arrive on or around 7 P.M. and stand in the street looking around as if to say, "Where am I?" Recently, we put in a request to hold the mail for one week starting 9-11 and going to 9-19 (to resume delivery). Can these people read? I wonder...mail hasn't been delivered since last Saturday, 9-3-22. I've always happily paid increases in postal fees, but am beginning to wonder at the incompetence of the system. Shame on all of you!

I never thought USPS was a spectacular service until I went to the UK and had to deal with Royal Mail and they incinerated my package because the sender made an addressing mistake. The USPS has been around for 51 years. The Royal Mail has been around for 506, half a milennia. I've sold items with USPS and nothing has gotten lost so far. Keep up the good work! I will now appreciate you a lot more as I should.

Many issues with lost mail or being delivered to the wrong address.
Turnkey? The window hours for sat are 8am to 6pm est. I believe you can stop metered mail at the window but not positive. The drive up window hours are the same.
PO boxes vary in prices it depends on how long you want it and what size they have all different kinds of sizes for big packages little tiny packages medium packages go to your local post office to find out or go to USPS.com and they should have a dimension size with the price

They have had a severe outbreak of covid at the providence plant as reported on nbc10. This combined with the sheer volume has caused delays.

According to their website, their hours tomorrow are from 8AM–4PM. But I always assumed they were closed on major holidays. You may want to call them to confirm. But they do have self service kiosks in the lobby.

It really is hit or muss as to the wait time. The clerk may have been referring to that days schedule to let you know there would be staff available. This location can get very busy and often there are too few clerks at the windows
