I come here often. They don't speak English, so, it's kind of hard to get helped if you don't know exactly what you want sometimes.

This is my favorite market! As a Chef, I drive 45 miles once a week to shop here for my family cooking needs. I love Asian, Chinese, Thai, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean food better than “American” foods! The prices are great! Awesome selection of teas, bean pastes, canned drinks, coffee, teas, etc… A large selection of candies, snacks, crackers, chips, cereals and cookies in fancy tins. Wide selection of Asian condiments and a huge selection of noodles. A room with cooking utensils, woks, knives, dishes, etc. A room with fresh vegetables, cabbage, cukes, bok choy, beans, etc…Tons of spices, starches, dumpling mixes, flours and rices. I think they have about everything you need!! Pretty good fresh fish, shrimp, crabs, snails live fish, etc…
(they dress them for you). Nice baked goods and lots of dairy products tofu, noodles etc…They have a large selection of freezer items. Fresh tofu, bamboo shoots, scallions, bean sprouts, mushrooms, etc…They even have lanterns and other pretty decorating items. I have shopped every “ Ethnic Market” within 100 miles of Albany-for the selection and prices this one is the BEST!!!!!
**Avoid Kims market ( very high prices, not really friendly).

Great selection of herbs at great prices. Good dim sum pork buns.
Do they carry lard ? I am trying to find "flake lard" or "baking lard" - that must be refrigerated. NOT the hydrogenated stuff. Thank you !

They will sometimes have raw squid available in the fish section, but what they have for the day varies depending on what was delivered to them. I haven't seen any pre-made calamari but there could be some in the frozen section.
They have pork dumplings galore. You can expect to pay between 3-12.99 depending on size of bag and brand, but it seems to come down to about $1.50-4/lb of dumplings depending on quality and demand. As for count, it’s hard to say because the dumpling size varying so much
I have not seen okara there. Japanese items like that are harder to find in the capital region. Consider asking at the local Korean markets if they have 'biji' (or 'piji') - this is the Korean version of okara.
