This is my second time staying here in a cabin. My two boys and I really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable like last time. I was thankful for the air conditioning. The day we got there it was really hot. I loved driving, hiking, and exploring along Avenue of the Giants. The redwoods are so grand and majestic, I didn't want to leave!! I took many photos as I'm a photographer. We had our own private bathroom, which was very clean and new looking. I went to the office to buy laundry detergent and get quarters to do a load of laundry. Everything worked and was very convenient. I would recommend staying here for a relaxing, peaceful time among the redwoods!

We absolutely loved this place. The workers were friendly and helpful. They have their own swimming hole down by the river. We stayed an extra day we liked it so much. It's a little sketchy driving into the camp but there is a gate and secure inside.

So happy I found this place. Exactly what I was looking for to kick off the summer. This campground is so beautiful, very clean and friendly staff. Sites are a mix of grass and gravel. We have a nice shaded spot with the playground right behind us..and river across... perfect for us with 2 young boys. It's been very peaceful.. quiet, respectful guests. It's on the Eel River with private beach access. It's been a great experience. We can't wait to go explore the Redwoods.Giant Redwoods will be a yearly trip for sure! - 4 happy campers

What a lovely campground. Beautiful along the Eel River, so scenic. The campsites were spacious. Very clean and modern. And when I had a problem with the washer, the owner responded quickly. Would definitely come back here.

are ya trying to get in and grow something and get out?
RV park is available with full hook ups. Water pressure was poor, because landscapers watered the grounds during work hours. Cable TV reception was also poor. Bathrooms were closed. Otherwise, it was an OK place. Right on the Eel River.
No, they are not open at this time. If you are looking to tent camp, we will not be offering tent camping due to changes in the park.
There are no group sites but the tent sites are next to the river and im pretty sure they said 8 people per site so 2 sites. It's a Beautiful place.
Yes, we have a river at our property but you have to use barbless hooks and catch and release except for the Northern Pike they say is OK to keep. They want them out of the river because they eat other fish.
Yes, we have large showers that are not coin operated and the restrooms have heated floors. As far as the septic system, that has been corrected.
