Fairing way nursing home is a great place for my mother, the nurses and CNA took great care of her, she enjoyed the actives and being in this facility. With the acceptation of the food she was getting. The food is horrible and some things looked barley edible. When I speak to the dining staff they are rude and say they don’t have any other food to offer but what is on the menu. My mother lost 20 pounds because she wouldn’t eat the food. The cook that works in the kitchen would yell at the others when i asked for something different. Other than my horrible experience with the kitchen department my mothers overall stay was excellent! 1 star because of the food and the awful treatment!

This is an over 55 community. My mom is very happy. Everybody is very friendly and they have a fair amount of activities. There have been a few issues though in the few years that fairing way has been open. I would chop these up to Growing Pains since the owners previously just ran nursing homes. There is one attached to the over 55 facility should that be the next step. One such issue has been consistency with the bistro . My mom has always been happy with the food but not everybody is as flexible as my mom . There is also a large Hospital complex right down the street. It is situated in an area that has many shops and places to eat. There are numerous walking trails nearby as well as a dog walk.
