Great little state park well run. These are pictures of fog lifting off the lake at night.

Headed north for the holiday weekend and stayed 3 nights camping at Woodford State Park. The park provided opportunities for camping, kayaking, biking, hiking and more! Near by Bennington offered fun shops and places to eat and drink. We loved the easy access to the AT Trailheads for afternoon hikes outside the park. And the park rangers were thoroughly knowledgeable and friendly!!

This was one of the best campgrounds we've been to, minus the showers and dogs. People were great at keeping the quiet hours. The lake/pond is beautiful. The icing on the cake was that we could see the Milky Way!

If you are hiking not a very good readable map. But it was an awesome hike

The park opens on June 26th
Yes. There are dumpters scattered throughout the park, with adjacent, clearly labelled recycling bins.
It has been removed, by the campers beach there is a basketball hoop and grass area, but the playground area was taken down and is now the "community fire circle".
No hook ups. Also sites in the first two loops difficult for RV"s
Yes we made a reservation online and then tent camped there. It was wonderful.
The bathrooms are pretty close to the sites. You can also park your car at your site so you can get a short charge. I have TMobile and didn't have any reception on the campground though.
$8 per day for 2 adults ($4 each?); kids are less ($2 each?)
Gravel for tents. And I did not see any pouson ivy.
