Love this beach. Family friendly, loves people walking dogs. Clean. Pickle ball courts , tennis and basketball.

Having grown up in New Bedford and re-located 50 years ago, I feel grateful that these special places are being taken care of.

The lot stays open past the posted time (4 P.M.) nice stretch of beach,and trails along the water. Lots of parking, but no rentals at the fort.

Who unlocks the beach gates on Saturday's? They are never open at 8 and you can't reach anyone by phone.
