Good morning Barbara. I have no idea what a true value would be. There are several variations of the 381E. If it is all original and in good shape, they are worth anywhere from $1500 to 3000 depending on the version. You say its a reproduction. Is it Lionel or MTH? On the left side of the store they have a HO multi track level, almost full depth of the store . The right entry of store is a N gauge table top display and on the same side towards the back is the lionel display under construction.
Mine is in the corner of my garage in Venice. It is an oversized two car. Or you could just designate one room for it
