We had our 5 year old grandson with us and he really enjoyed it. The young lady who gave the tour was fantastic.

FABULOUS place to visit, not far from the WV border! My only regret was that we could not stay longer! We visited on our way home from vacation. Exhibits were incredible, trails were highly accessible, and the creek is low enough you can walk in and cool your feet. You have the option of a guided tour or self-guided (we opted for self-guided). Trees, wildflowers, and plants are all clearly labelled. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great little place to take a break with the kids. It is pet friendly. Surprisingly lots to see and do. Reasonable prices on the tour and very friendly staff. A great collection of trinkets in the gift shop. They even offer face painting with clay from the river. All in all, really neat experience. Highly recommend if your in the area.

This was a neat opportunity to step back into distant local history. The reconstruction of a native American camp is pretty impressive. Although they didn't strictly adhere to the historically accurate building methods and materials, it's still easy to imagine how this bustling village would've looked a few hundred (or thousand?) years ago. The indoor museum isn't really a thing yet, but it looks like they're working on something.
