Great vets and staff that truly care for animals and take time to explain things and answer questions.

I just moved here from Utah and made an appt with the Mechanicsburg hospital location. They made the appointment full well knowing I was new and that Copper was not seen at this hospital. The phone call was very clear with two people that i talked to in regards to this particular appointment. However, when I drove an hour from my home to the appointment, they told me I could not been seen and while I'm standing there, they canceled my appointment. Telling me that Copper can't be seen because he doesn't have a relationship with the tech and there was no doctor in that day. Well....how can Copper get a relationship with anyone if he's not seen? And if they knew I was new to this location, why would they still schedule the appointment just to turn me away? That was a waste of 2 hours+ of my time and I really got disgusted about the whole thing. I needed Copper to be seen because he has Hip dysplasia really bad and is out of meds. I'm trying to get him some meds that only Banfield can refill. I cannot get the meds from Chewy. I really wish this was handled better. I'm truly disappointed all around.

Called because my best friend of 13+ years was suffering terribly and needed to sleep. Because I'd never been, they wouldn't because no history. He's 13+ and suffering! He suffered for another 36 hours until I could get him to my vet. Update- I recieved a apologetic email, and if I need to schedule a follow up. My dog is not in this realm any longer, as he was put to sleep 36 hours after I called. I told you he was suffering, and so was I. For another 36 hours

Totally fed up with being told for the 3rd time in 8 months that I would need to go to an emergency vet hospital. I pay 90.00 dollars a month to have my animals taken care of, but it seems that every time I have a sick pet, I get the same answer. Then to be placed on hold for 15 minutes to the point I had to hang up and call back. In the meantime I still have a sick pet. This is Totally unacceptable.

Lindsay Kisla | Sep 15, 2020

The wellness plan can be paid in full or by monthly payments and is really to the pet owners benefit. The payment is less than an office visit and covers visits, shots, spay or neuter, microchip and pet emergencies. I don't ever worry about how much a visit will cost.
