We rented a property from Distinctive Beach Rentals from November 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, on Bay Beach Ln. 844 Hibiscus Pointe! We rented for this long because we were waiting for our place to be ready in Fort Myers, as we moved here on November 1. And let me tell you, there was no type of discount offered for the length of time we stayed at this outdated and dirty condo. The first day, I did voice my concerns, as I spent the whole day sanitizing and cleaning this place with bleach. Even the coffee cups had coffee on them in the cabinets. There was hair in the showers, on the bathroom floors, the kitchen floor was filthy. We went out and bought our own sheets and pillows and a blanket, as the bed sheets were not clean! The drawers in the kitchen where all the utensils were, were beyond filthy, I literally took one drawer and put all the utensils in the dishwasher, and put them aside as not to put them back in the filthy drawer, so we could use them. The carpet was an off-white color, and was spotted in every room, so we also purchased some carpet spot cleaner, and tried to lift up all the spots, with no luck. The carpet was so filthy that our white socks were black just walking across the carpets. Everything from walking in the front door throughout the whole condo was so outdated, there was no warm welcoming feeling walking into this place! Oh, even the oven was dirty. That was the last thing we wanted to do was to have to clean and sanitize a place that we were going to be at for two months! If you are used to a clean welcoming place, this is not the place for you. I understand that us as a renter for the time we are there needs to keep it clean and tidy, I totally get that, but what about the people before us, isn’t there a cleaning company that should be checking this before letting new renters come in? Well, I was told yes there is a cleaning company that comes in, it looks like they missed this place before we checked in on November 1. The couch is a sleeper sofa, And there are chair cushions on the couch because it is so hard and uncomfortable to even sit and watch TV! The two TVs in the condo, are so small, our laptops were bigger than them! What a disappointing almost 8 weeks, we turned our keys in a few days early, since our place was finally ready, we couldn’t be more happier. That was the worst experience of our life.

The Hibiscus Point Condominiums are a very nice condo complex on quiet Bay Beach Lane at the South end of Estero Island, Fort Myers Beach. The condos are adjacent to the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve and all of the condos have canal views of the boat docks.
