Beautiful Sunday afternoon. Waiting room at <40% (1 patient per 2.5 ppl) and in 1.5 hours of being here, 1 person has been brought back behind the security doors. Not even triaged. Took insurance card and told to have a seat. Should have driven to Ocala.

Great local ER. Wait time in lobby was minimal. Hospital has great technology. They had a portable x-ray machine that they rolled into my room instead of me having to go down the hall to it. It sent digital x-ray directly to the doctor. Full service ER. I was treated quickly and released. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this ER facility.

My wife is in the hospital OR right now getting a badly infected gallbladder removed. Went here a week ago with exactly the same symptoms and they found nothing and sent her home! Can't rate them low enough! We avoided the Villages Hospital because of the horror stories but this place is even worse. Absolutely incompetent medical care. Avoid it . . . period.
