I received a notice in my mailbox that stated I had something that required a signature. Unfortunately I do work from 8am till 5-5:30 everyday so I got off work early in order to make it to the post office in time as they are only open 9:30-4:00, I work 45 minutes away from the post office and of course was stopped by a train. I then called (5 times before someone answered to be exact) and let them know I had gotten off early and I was on my way to sign. The lady who answered the phone told me “the system shuts down at 4.” Okay no problem. But then I remembered about 3 months ago my husband had to go up and pick up a package that wouldn’t fit in our parcel locker and he as well was headed that way as fast as possible but knew he wasn’t gunna make it in time so he called and was told “no problem I’ll wait for you.” He Arrived at 4:20 they unlocked the door and he was assisted. So I figured I’ll still head that way and hopefully they will help me or, at least, allow me to sign (if possible) so they could deliver it to my mail box tomorrow. I pulled in at 4:10 ran in side a woman was standing at the counter and the door was locked so I gently knocked on the door. she looked up and said “we closed at 4. “ I replied by saying “yes ma’am I understand I just have a quick question to ask.” She then ignored me (I heard her so I know she heard me ) I very patiently waited as she counted her money. After 20 minutes she finally acknowledged me again by yelling “I said we are closed we open in the morning at 9:30!!” I said “ma’am I left work early and tried to get here as fast as possible can you please at least answer a question.”She completely ignored me again. I then tried to call the phone it rang and that was ignored as well. At this point I left . I don’t understand why when a man calls or comes in it’s no problem at all to assist them but when a woman calls it’s a huge problem and treated very poorly. To the lady at the counter, learn how to treat people with a little respect. a little bit of kindness goes along way. I sure hope one day you don’t need something urgently, leave work early, do everything with in your power to not inconvenience anyone and someone treats you like you are none existent.

Not very friendly or helpful USPS, so don't expect much cooperation or support to help you if you aren't just buying stamps. They also "were unable to deliver your package" for unexplained reasons and then handed it over to a random person without the package slip at the office. Worth finding a more progressive USPS if you can

I am having my packages opened. I was in the office 3 months ago when the new guy started on this route and since then I have had three packages opened with 1 being delivered completely empty. Another was in a box, the box was ripped apart and the only part of the box i recieved was the piece with the label and my items were in a plastic bag with the ripped cardboard. I WILL MOST DEFINITELY CALL THE POLICE AND PRESS CHARGES FOR TAMPERING AND THEFT IF THIS HAPPENS EVEN ONCE MORE.

The mail delivery person that delivers to ne 141 terrace needs to slow down. This is a privately maintained road. If you don't want to slow down further steps will be taken to slow them down. You have been warned.
