Do yourself a favor and stay away. The staff and maintenance are very nice and will do their outmost to help with what they can control. They are just people who work here and do their best to keep tenants happy. The staff are not the problem, the problem is Courtland being your Landlord. Courtland controls everything and are just looking for an excuse to charge you. It's a money hungry corporation the have zero concern for their tenants. The appartments are really poor quality and almost everything is broken and constantly needs to be fixed. Extremely overpriced and if it wasn't for lack of options I wouldn't pay $1000 for my appartment. Currently paying $2200, and then there's additional fees. Venterra who were the previous owners were much better landlord than Courland. If you value location and safety then it's doable. The Elementary school is great and people in the neighborhood are really kind and friendly.

The location of this community is completely unbeatable. The schools in the area are top notch, proximity to parks is perfect, tons of nature walking trails, and conveniently located near lots of food and grocery. Though change is always tough, the new management company, Cortland, has been great. The staff is really friendly and helpful and they are starting to improve the aging property to give it a fresh look. I love that we get to use the Independence HOA amenities and the we can participate in the HOA events. Cortland has also started hosting events for the apartment residents that seem to be pretty fun as well! Overall, I am happy with my home here!

This is such a nice area, so many things to do around the neighborhood. We got a tour of the apartments from Jedica and she was so nice and welcoming; really made our apartment hunting so much easier. The apartments are located in Independence, as a former resident of the area we are hoping to get an apartment here in the next few months. It’s Budget friendly and definitely a great place to live! Come check it out! :)
