I had my first visit to Dr. Simpkins office last week. She was recommended by a few girlfriends who absolutely loved her. Hard to love a dentist you say? Well, my first experience was like I knew her for years. She was very attentive to my issues and that means a lot to a senior citizen. She came up with a treatment plan for me and fully explained who, what, where and why. For the first time ever I walked away from her office feeling like I finally made the right decision. I have been to many dentists in my 14 years in Sarasota. She is by far the best I have ever had. Her office staff and her assistant were so helpful and as nice as can be as well.

At our office we always save time in our schedule to treat emergency patients. Typically, we are able to treat patients during the same day especially if there is pain. If the emergency arises outside of our business hours call our main line and follow instructions for emergency contacts. We are here to help!
Dr. Simpkins will refer you out to a leading specialist who will place the implant for you. From there, we are able to figure out which kind of restoration will work best for you such as a crown, bridge, or denture.
At our office we have a huge focus on preventative care and our goal is to prevent any problems before they even arise. We offer comprehensive dental exams, professional cleanings, oral cancer screenings, fluoride treatments, and dental sealants.
For patients who aren't able to cover the cost up front, we suggest CareCredit. This allows patients to pay back their care interest-free if they stay up to date with a predetermined payment plan that is generally 6, 12, or 18 months. Applying is simple and usually only takes a few minutes. If you have any questions about CareCredit or if you are interested, contact our office.
At our office we utilize several different tools to offer our patients the most effective and comfortable care possible. We offer Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), Intraoral Cameras, Laser Dentistry, Digital X-Rays, Panoramic X-Rays, and Electric Handpieces.
We do! We offer oral sedation for patients who experience dental anxiety. Before the appointment, Dr. Simpkins will prescribe a sedative that can be taken an hour or so before the appointment. When the patient arrives at the appointment they will feel drowsy and relaxed. In these cases a ride from the office will be necessary. We offer several cosmetic options such as teeth whitening, veneers, tooth-colored composite filling material, dental implants, dental bridges, and dentures.
We are a fee-for-service dental practice. This means instead of fees and treatment being dictated by an insurance company, they are set by needs, time, and materials that are needed for a specific treatment. Payment is due in full at the time of service and we will be transparent about the cost. If you are insured we will be happy to file your claim for reimbursement directly to you.
