What a great place to camp and relax!!!! My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights back in March. The camp host, Ed, was great!! He immediately met us and explained the layout of the camp and all amenities. He then proceeded to escort us to our camp spot and personally guided our camper into our spot!!!! Shower was clean and free laundry!!!! Mayport is a great place to relax and enjoy all the base has to offer. Valerie did a great job too with our reservation and questions we had!!! Can't wait to come back next year!!!!

Cute cute cute little place… spacious with plenty of tree cover and such a nice breeze from the ocean. Full hook ups, Wi-Fi, cable, bring your own grill / fire pit), such friendly people. We will be back!

Back for a months stay. This is by far my favorite place to stay. You won't find a more pleasant place to visit. The cabins are well furnished and comfortable. Very nice campground with super nice, friendly camp hosts. It's a nice little base with friendly people. The commissary and exchange are about a mile straight out the front gate. It's fun watching the ships going in and out the St John's river and the mile of beach is very nice. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach from Osprey Cove and the path goes around a nice little lake. I retired from RV'ing in 2019 but this is a super nice rv park. Lots of shade.

Yes you have to be affiliated with the military. Veterans, active duty and retirees and their families
Good morning Janie, Thank you for reaching out to MWR Mayport. Our RV Spots are all set up for 40Ft. We hope this answer your question. In any case it didn't, please call our representatives at 904-270-7808. Have a great day.
Yes mine retired ANG.
Hello Jeremy, thank you for your message. If your VA card says service connected on it and you are able to access the base with that card, you are welcome to use our RV parks!
Hello Terri, Thank you for contacting MWR Mayport RV Parks. Please call 904-270-7808/7809. Our representatives will be able to assist you.
If he has privileges to stay at Navy Lodges I'm sure he would be able to stay at the campground.
You have to have a military ID to get on the base.
In the area yes, but unless the uber driver has a military ID or a pass, then they can only drop you off at the Mayport Navy gate.
180 days is all you can stay. You must move off the grounds for 24 hours and then call to try and get another spot. Once you come back you can stay for another 180 days and you must do it again.
I suggest you call them directly for a more accurate answer, as this is not their website. Rates are based on your rank/grade.
No I'm sorry but it is only for those that have a active military I D or a retired ID card
Yeah like we carry rd 214 around with us !!!! But it is easier to carry a copy around when you might need to get something cheaper or free. I had to show mine 6 years ago to get free access to the Florida state parks. I just had to renew mine in 2018. I park my RV in the campsite for half price.
You will need to call Navy Campground reservations 877-628-9233. They can help you. Prices varied.
Osprey Cove is an RV park, as is Pelican Roost. They're both located on Mayport Naval Station.
Less than 3 mi. on the north side of base next to Pelican Roost.
