I really don't understand how this pharmacy works. You use the automated line to call in a prescription and they tell you when to pick it up. You go there at the correct time, pick a number, go to the window, sit back down, wait for them to fill a prescription that should have been ready, and go back to the window. This makes no sense. So today, I called in a prescription and was told I had to wait 48 hours. I told them that I have only 1 pill left. I was told that there are no exceptions and that all prescriptions take that long unless you walk in with a new prescription and then they can fill it the same day. I said so even if it's a heart med or seizure med, you still won't fill it before the 48 hour wait period. I was told no. I told her that I was a pharmacy tech for 22 years, and I have never heard of such a thing. This rule could cost lives. I was told that is the decision of the director. I said transfer me to the director. She put me on hold and then got back to me and told me the director said they couldn't fill my prescription before the 48 hour wait period. Now I know she didn't talk to anyone. She was trying to appease me. This director must be young and have no health problems to issue such an inane rule. Does someone have to die because they couldn't get their meds in a timely fashion, before they review their mandates. This "director" needs to be replaced. He and his rules are unacceptable. The whole pharmacy procedure is a joke.

What the heck has happened to this place???!!! Doctors and PAs leaving like wild fire. Unable to get an appointment unless you want to wait 3 weeks and I'm active duty. My wife unable to get an appointment as a beneficiary. This is completely unacceptable and congress will be getting loads of complaints by my battalion.

I was getting my prescriptions there before COVID became a pandemic. When they adjusted for the pandemic i thought it was a great system (still feel that way). However, I travel a lot and ive been trying to get my prescription transferred to the local VA and NONE of my calls were even answered. I guess i should not rate them so low because i cannot even talk to someone to answer my questions. I have two numbers, including the one that showed up when they called me. PLEASE just answer the phone!! I just need about 10 seconds of your time! RIDICULOUS!!!

This used to be a great place for care. Now there I have had three different doctors in 18 months because they keep leaving, and they were civilians. The standard of care is non existent.

Not until mid November
Yes, they do
Tricare online I believe
Never tried online. Don't know if they have it. I always called Central Appointments. They're very responsive.
It depends on the department you are trying to reach. If you are trying to fax records, the number is: 410-278-0385
