I am very grateful for the legal expertise, guidance and unfailing support Michael Manna has provided me throughout many years. His counsel is extremely appreciated.

My family and I have been working with MIke Manna for over 12 years. During this professional relationship his firm helped us with the legal issues of 2 siblings, as well as my mother's estate planning. Without his firm's help and guidance I would have never been able to help them in the ways they needed and deserved. I know Mike and his firm are always there for us and that kind of trust is hard to find.

I called Manna Helmy Law Group when my mother passed to find out how to handle the probate. Mr. Manna asked me questions about my mother's estate, told me I didn't even really need him and that I could do it myself, walked me through the process of how to establish myself as the executor and told me to call him if I ran into trouble. Wonderful man! I can't thank him enough!

My wife and I truly appreciate the advice and help we were provided by Michael Manna. We can’t thank him enough for his courtesy, compassion, and knowledge. Will recommend him to all our relatives and friends in need of a great attorney.

Gifting. Trusts, VA benefits, Medicaid benefits, long term care insurance if it is not too late.

YES!
Maybe!
We can apply to court to probate will although it is presumed to be destroyed and/or revoked. Rebuttable presumption.
Sometimes! Depends on the assets, what is premarital, etc. since the divorce must be equitable.
The firm was formally known as Michael A. Manna & Associates.
Do not do this without us talking further. There may be serious capital gains taxes you will have to pay on the sale of the house if you do this. In addition it will make mom ineligible for medicaid for five years. I suggest you come in for a free consultation to discuss the case. By the way, I am admitted in New Jersey and New York so I should be able to help you
Thanks for the question. New Jersey has eliminated its estate tax effective 1/1/18 as long as you leave your wealth to a spouse, parent, child, grandchild, great grandchild or step child. And you pay no federal estate tax unless you have more then $11 million in assets, if you are single, or $22 million if you are married. So the vast majority of us no longer have to worry about death tax. As a result, your will should be looked at since tax saving provisions may no longer be necessary. Come in to see me for a free consultation and we can discuss it.
