As a psychologist, writer, and community activist, I do not have what might be thought of as the typical business to belong to a Chamber. However, I have found it to be crucial for developing community connections. I have been a member for a number of years. During that time, the Chamber has revitalized dramatically. Our chamber is very fortunate to receive support from many entities to maintain our market. After a great deal of consideration and input from vendors, local merchants, town officials and Westfield residents, it was a joint decision to move the market from the South side train station to the North side.
The GWACC has a gift coin that can be used at several businesses/merchants in Fanwood, Garwood, Mountainside, Scotch Plains and Westfield. Coins can be purchase at our chamber office (212 Lenox Ave) in increments of $25 (first coin has a $2.50 fee).
