I have lived at Journet place for about 10 to 11 years. It is a awesome place to live. I have met some wonderful people. Our manager Celesian Harris is a awesome manager and her assistant Frances is also a awesome person. Celesian makes sure things are taken care of. I think a lot of her. Thanks

I have lived at Journet Place for 10 years and would not want to live anyplace else. It is clean, comfortable and has a staff beyond reproach. Our manager Celesian Harris is, in my opinion, the best manager Journet has ever had. She is not only very professional, but personable and gets the job done no matter what. Our new assistant manager, Frances Tindeol, although new, is a wonderful and down to business part of the Journet staff.

Very helpful and loving staff. The management was one of the best I’d ever experienced.

Holiday weekend and pool is closed again, water is dark green. They raised rents in July and nothing has changed for the good. Royal American does not take care about fixing anything that costs money. Many tenants are sick of the lack of services and constant raising of rent. One more large increase and many retired people will have to move out.

Questions & Answers

How come you all never answer your phone? I am looking for an apartment for my 72 year old mother, and everyday that I call, no one ever answers. Must be nice to go to work and do nothing all day. I will look elsewhere.

It has an annual limit but RA keeps raising rents so at some point you cannot afford to stay. They lost tenants during last rent increase because seniors cannot afford it anymore when you are on a fixed income.
