Stopped by for a late supper, drive thru was full, so decided to go in. I will say I ended up waiting a little longer than I'd like to, but it was worth it. Not only did they profusely apologize, they let my 3yr old come behind the counter to make her own ice cream. This was my daughter's 1st trip ever to DQ & I'm so happy that it became memorable. Great job and delicious food.

I called Dairy Queen in Madisonville KY to see if they are open because the website says they are always closed. I ask this girl about delivery. Understand, EVERY DAIRY QUEEN STORE DELIVERS EXCEPT THIS ONE. She responded and say they are not doing any delivery or have any further plans of it. She hangs up when I mention that corporate would have a problem with the website saying they are closed everyday and that they don’t deliver with DoorDash or Uber eats. Then, I call back..a girl named Lora or Laura answers and I ask for the girl who hung up. She says she don’t know she just got there and literally lied to me by then saying, “we don’t do door dash or anything like that and we won’t.” I said I thought you just got there and didn’t know what was going on. I told her I am contacting corporate that this is very unprofessional and asked for her name. she gave her name and hung up on me. She refused to give the name of the first girl I spoke with. Corporate is looking into this problem and hopefully it will be resolved. They did say it is privately owned so I hope that the owner will see the unprofessional response of their staff and consider the fact that Covid is still a huge problem. Understand, delivery would increase profits and decrease the chance of Covid spreading. When you have lost family from this then a decent business owner would see that delivery is very important in all aspects for the people. Plus, this is 2022!! Who doesn’t do delivery??!!! Maybe training the staff on how to respond to people would be a good decision also. Hope this is resolved.
