Yes, they were short staffed. That's why I understand it took a little extra time to get my food. When I got it is was a good meal. And, the staff that was there were friendly. The only thing was cleanliness; it wasn't horrible, and, again, I understand the shortage in staff. I will eat here again.

Been a long time since we were at Captain D's because of COVID-19. I remember the portions being bigger, but I guess the change is due to inflation.

We ordered the family meal of fish shrimp and stuffed crab and extra shrimp. my husband waited 33 minutes and went in to get it when they hadn't brought it out to him. a gentleman was there complaining that he didn't receive his hush puppies. my husband got home and we did not have any hush puppies. Everything else was over cooked. I tried to call the number on the website and got an answering machine. never again
