You have to be 16 with parents consent
It varies on the artist
They may prefer appointments but when I went it was a spur of the moment decision and they took me right in.
They do cover-ups. Best thing to do is go into the shop and take a look at the artists portfolios and then schedule a consult. Bring any ideas or references that you have if you're thinking of something specific. All the artists there are super talented and rad.
