I thought It was all in my head, but as I'm reading the reviews I see I am not alone, I've experienced the worst bedside manner from this man, and pretty much said the reason for my pain was due to my weight. And that I needed to lose weight and exercise and eat better for my pain from an injury at work to get better. This was all for a workers comp case that I seen him for that last about 3 min tops. Will not be going back to this doctor and I suggest No one else does either. Definitely didn't feel safe around him.

I have had 5 previous spinal fusions, each resulting in more of my spine being fused due to a variety of issues. I got Dr. Cronen's name from a previous surgeon who had done fellowship with him and he highly recommended him. I held his name and number for over a year before calling, even though I knew things were happening, I was just scared after previous complications, etc. When I finally called and got in to see him, I got the devastating news that my Scoliosis had worsened and I also had broken hardware. The decision was made that I needed to have a major surgery to remove all the old hardware and to fix the Scoliosis and this resulted in me being fused from T2-Sacrum. I decided to put all my trust in Dr. Cronen and Josh and am so glad that I did because the surgery was a success. Without the surgery, I would have never been able to live the life that I want to live. Even though I no longer live in Florida, I would definitely see Dr. Cronen again if anything ever happens because he always respected me and heard me with all of my concerns. Thank you so much Dr. Cronen!!

Very pleased with my visit to Dr. Cronen's office. I came in with severe pain in my upper back. I had a previous injury from years back, and now the pain had spread to another area of my body and I wanted an explanation/confirmation. I had Xrays done with a very kind and personable Xray tech, and then met with Dr. Assistant Josh who went over them with me. He explained image by image what I was looking at and what was very likely the cause of my pain. He confirmed my old injuries and suggested ideas for management of the new pain I was experiencing. He did not prescribe meds, which is my absolute preference (no meds!), and instead prescribed some PT to learn exercises and activities to strengthen my core and be better able to carry myself on my frame. Josh was kind and compassionate in his care, and they clearly understood my pain level and desire to manage it - not mask it. Prior experiences at other spine facilities left me feeling like a pawn in the game of lawyers, chiropractors and doctors trying to build a case. I did not feel that way at all today with Josh and the team at Florida Medical. I am glad to be sent somewhere that can teach me to be more physically able to support my structure.
