Dr. Klotch is the best in town. He knows his stuff, is fast to act and take care of your issues. He's a little on the eccentric side, funny as all get out. One of the very few doctors I don't mind going to. Bottom line - he is Top of the Line. Highly recommend if you need and ENT. He doesn't sugarcoat things, tells you exactly like it is. He's not the least bit pretentious and overbearing unlike the obnoxious orthopedic surgeon I went to see.

I am alive today because of Dr. Klotch. I had a total thyroidectomy in 2002. After surgery found out it was cancerous. I had been to 2 doctors prior to Dr.Kloch who did not take my concern seriously. I am so thankful that he was attentive and acted quickly. I will always appreciate this doctor

I had a tonsillectomy performed by Dr. Douglas Klotch. Prior to my scheduled surgery, I had developed a cough and a fever. My mother and I expressed our concerns to Dr. Klotch the morning of the surgery and he said that everything was fine to continue. After my surgery, while in the hospital, I still had the fever and cough. The nurses had attempted to contact Dr. Klotch in order to try another medicine to help with the pain, coughing, and anxiety. He did not answer his phone. The cough was constantly irritating my throat, and the morphine did little to help with the pain, but it did put me asleep for about an hour and that was my only relief. When Dr. Klotch checked on me the morning after surgery, he immediately began yelling and cursing when he entered the room. He informed us that he had seen the call form the nurse asking for different medication, and that he had just finished scolding that nurse. My mother had placed a damp washcloth on my forehead in an attempt to keep the fever down. This was my first surgery and my mom has never seen me in pain to this degree, she was doing her best to help me feel better at the time. He yelled at my mom to "take that thing off her head." He told her that she was treating me like an invalid. He stated that he took a portion of a man's tongue out just down the hall and that that man was not acting like this. Naturally, my mother grew emotional and he proceeded to tell her that she was the reason that I was "acting like a two year old." My mom informed him of my low oxygen levels, my constant fever, and my high pain level and he MOCKED her for it. He was constantly interrupting her and raising his voice to speak over her. He laughed at my situation. The nurses informed us that we had the opportunity to appeal the discharge, however, he left us feeling so disrespected and upset that staying there was the last place we wanted to be. I had to sit in that hospital bed and listen to a man disrespect and yell at my mom, who was doing everything she could to help with the pain, and not be able to scream at him at the top of my lungs. He was arrogant and crude and had absolutely no bedside manner. Once I was home, the cough grew much more painful and my temperature remained hard to manage and at this point and as it continued for the next few days my family and I realized that it was preventing me from properly healing and recovering. I was in a tremendous amount of pain, even when on the prescribed pain medication. I returned to a different hospital two times after the surgery for pain, swelling, and coughing. They were able to give me steroids that immediately brought the swelling down, as well as two different pain medications. After being seen by doctors in the hospital where I was admitted almost a week after my surgery, I was diagnosed with bronchitis. The cough that he said was not a problem, turned into a problem. While I thought I was able to trust Dr. Klotch going into my surgery, I now know that he operated on me while I was sick and proceeded to treat me terribly afterwards. I pray that no other patients under his care have gone through or will go through this type of situation.

Worst surgeon ever. Left my face permanently messed up after removing an ameloblastoma from my jaw. My jaw shattered a week after the surgery after he removed too much bone and left nothing to support it, so he put a metal plate in. The metal plate was too big for my face and actually perforated through my skin! I finally decided to find a more competent surgeon to fix his screw up and got it taken care of. I had to have a bone graft from my hip into my jaw and a metal plate custom built for my face. I have three horrible scars on my neck and an asymmetrical face thanks to this man's incompetence and arrogance. And now I find out he was just arrested in a position sting. I'm not surprised! He's disgusting and karma comes around eventually!
