Housing For New Hope

A representative said to me "This is not a housing program." The name is literally "Housing for New Hope". I asked for an appointment to gain a better understanding of how to qualify and was given zero help. A previous reviewer said they would rather stay homeless and same here. Just because I live in my car doesn't mean I don't deserve the time of day to be told about the program and what it is that they do. By the way they were recommended to me by SEVERAL formerly homeless people which is bonkers because I'm homeless and was given no help at all.

I'm a current resident it's been traumatic living in my apartment. I've been assaulted twice by the same neighbor, he's taunted me and threatened me. I've reported him to the tenant advocate and the property manager but nothing has been done. My other neighbors are always judging me about it because i didn't fight back. It's even gotten out into the public because they've talked about it to their friends. Everybody has an opinion i get that, but my private life is suppose to be just that private. So that being said I've lost my comfort in my own home because of this I'd rather had stayed homeless. At least i had respect and dignity out in the community.
