Dr Chen healed my lower back pain last October when Kaiser recommended surgery!! He was honest about the treatment would take twice a week for a month then taper off. HE WAS RIGHT!!! I came in not being able to sit for more than 10-15 minutes. Couldn’t drive. Only comfort was flat on my back on the floor. By thanksgiving I was driving, sitting at the dinner table and out if pain! Bless you Dr Winson. I most recently came back to him for trigger thumb. Well again he was honest and said this treatment could work 50-60% of the time. My aunt Ana referred me to Dr. Chen. I am so happy she did! She is a long time patient of that office and now I am thankful to say I will be as well! I initially went as I have a hip labrum tear on my right hip. I was experiencing great pain and after having an X-ray and MRI, I was directed to have surgery done from my orthopedic doctor. Instead, I sought acupuncture. I cannot thank Dr. Chen enough for all that he has done! My hip pain is gone and my hip flexibility in that hip is stronger than ever. READ THIS IF... 1) You are considering surgery (or have had surgery); 2) You have tried acupuncture elsewhere; or 3) You have tried chiropractors. From someone who has tried all the above and more, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Winson. After two surgeries on my lower back, I was considering a third when my back was locked up and I was barely able to move. After my first treatment, I was able to move with significantly less pain. I have continued my "tune ups" for over five years because they work! I firmly believe that if I would have known about Winson and his father before my surgeries, I would never have gone under the knife. The resulting scar tissue makes my surgeries makes things more challenging for Winson, but he takes his time and gives results. Previous acupuncturists treated me like a pin cushion; needles everywhere except where the pain originated...NOTHING. What Winson does with four needles, others couldn't do with a dozen. If you're new to chronic pain, save yourself money, pain, and time and go see Winson. If you're like me and have tried everything and you are considering surgery, STOP and make Winson your last resort like I did. You won't regret it.
