Our farm pond in Lee County, NC had not been attended in a while when I realized that beavers had built a huge beaver dam and were also burrowing into the pond dam. NC Wildlife Resources, located in Raleigh, arranged for an expert to eradicate the animals and save our pond. We are very grateful.

No, there are agents. Their only office is in Raleigh.
Yes, you should be able to. Give them a call and they can give you more details. Just look for a number for the Wildlife Commission.

You can purchase the game land map book thru license dept. You may can purchase it online like u can purchase licenses online. Www.ncwildlife.org
Yes ma'am, you need an inland fishing license to fish public waters.
Legally, it can be 6 inches from you property. It will still technically be on their property. As far as it facing your property, this is yet another thing you have no say in. It is their property and you have no control on what someone does on their property. Now, that being said, if they shoot an animal that is standing on your property, that is poaching. If they shoot an animal that is standing on their property and it runs and dies on your property, they must get your permission to retrieve it. If they do not, they are trespassing.
