The sheriff wanted the funeral home to cut the uniform off of the murdered deputy before burial and return it and the deputy’s brass to sheriff. Disgusting. Now he’s demoting and transferring deputies who assisted with planning the funeral.

I was not there on the scene nor have first hand knowledge of it but from what the news reported the officers saw some of the violent protesters going to that establishment and retrieving items to use as projectiles. This caused the officers to use flash, non lethal items against those violent protesters. Again this is reported by the news and not actual facts from my own accord. I hope this helps in a better understanding.

Please note, all WCSO facilities play "Operation Guest House". This subjects you to arrest if you have any open warrants. Your friend will probably only be housed at either detention center for a short time unless he was sentenced from court. I'd suggest bonding your friend out quickly as it isn't a great place for anyone to stay.
