This place is huge and there’s a lot to do. You can walk the trails that overlook the lake or go swimming in the beach or grab a shake from Kidd Valley. The water by the beach was pretty gross honestly, but I guess most places as crowded as that one are. Great place for a picnic or bbq.

Spectacular park.. An awesome place to spend time with family, kids .. lots of engagements available. Best for fall color.. a must visit place. Very neat and clean place. There is restaurants , restrooms, family picnic spots and a lot of parking available. Kids park is also there.. best for water sports..my family loves visiting there enormous time..

Beautiful park with an amazing walkway that goes for over a mile along the lake. Volleyball and tennis courts. Swimming area with beach and concessions during the summer. Very large play areas for children. Boat launch and docks next to two local quick service restaurants. (Seafood/burgers) a very well maintained park.

It is the lake of Washington, but looks like ocean shore. Big, wide, and beautiful place. Calm and peaceful park. Also there is a hotel restaurant and bar(I forget hotel's name), you can enjoy to eat and drink at near lake with friends and family. It is really like to walk with love one. It is one of best romantic parks in Seattle.

People go to lay down and relax. Think about for a moment
Yeah tons of them. Open barbeques with racks on top...just bring your own coal .
The playground has a little bit for all ages, to include exercise equipment for those who wish to exercise while the little ones play. The playground is within feet of restrooms and a bird viewing and sanctuary island.
Dog park behind the Renton Community center is still there... you can park behind the community center and walk across the bridge and left down the trail about 250 feet and you will see the dog park on th right. There is a way to park closer, but dont known exactly where the entrance is.
Possibly? There is s few good shady areas. Week day would be your best chance.
Just be sure to practice the social distancing. Even while sitting in groups. Eating is recommended no more than 4 to a table and preferred family members
I can not judge your capabilities but from my experience it is allowed.
The Volleyball Court Is Often Used, But There Is Often A Spot Available As Well. So, I'd Say 65% Chance You'll Get To Use It. The Earlier The Better. Coulton Gets Busy Early. Hope This Helps
I believe so, they will close the parking lots when it's time. There are side streets around the park trail, you could park there and walk after hours. However, the trail isn't well lit up so after 8 it's on you and how comfortable you are in the area.
Yes, and very busy
Yes.
I'd say just show up, and if someone gives you a hard time, tell them that it is only way you can prepare food for your family. Good luck!
As of 6/29/19, No swimming allowed. Waters closed due to high levels of yuck. I still see folks fishing lol. Illegal to light fireworks within Renton City Limits so you can't at Gene Coulon but there will be a free firework show I think Ivars is main sponsors.
If I'm not wrong there's No showers
I don't think so
The park closes the gates at 8pm and or sunset so they will not let you park overnight
Actually it's the City of Renton site, not the county: https://rentonwa.gov/city_hall/community_services/rentals_and_reservations
No, But there will be a Polar bear plunge January 1st at 11:00am
No. It is super close to Renton airport and FAA regulations prohibit drone flight within 5 miles of an airport.
Safe as any where
Yes
If you mean parking then no. If you mean a covered picnic spot like for parties then yes. Their website has info
People bring them anyway. But if you do don't be surprised if you are asked to leave. It is posted no dogs allowed.
Unfortunately not at the park itself. The nearest one that i know of is RRC, (Renton Rowing Center 1060 Nishiwaki Lane Renton, WA).
You can get your kayaks in the water in a few spots ay the park.
Maybe somebody else who uses your same wifi searched it. Searches from the home computer appear in my phone's history :/
Yes but it is a sailing club and you need a membership
The lights are on the trees, but they are not on (at least at 3pm). They turn on December 1st.
Yes there is. By the bigger parking lot away from ivars and the burger place.
No dogs allowed at coulon park . I took my puppy in a leash and the two park workers rold me no pets allowed i had to leave bthe park or get an infraction right away.
