I signed the first time class for my niece and nephews at $5 each kid. After you park, cross the bridge and the place is located to the left behind some trees. Very friendly staff.

Some friends and I thought we'd try our hand at archery, and to be quite honest, I think I'm hooked. Don't know if archery shops are common in the DC/SF area but this place is conveniently located near my house. The staff here was very cool and helpful to us newbies so we enjoyed our experience very much. If you never tried archery it is a nice change of pace activity to try out, and Pacifica Archery is a great place to go for a reasonable price.

Sessions aren't usually cancelled unless there's heavy rain. Overcast or light drizzle doesn't affect shooting.
Go to the range on Saturdays after 9 and ask about the joad program. It's an archery program for kids and if you talk to the joad coaches they might let you try it out.
If your new to the sport they have free beginner lessons at 8:00 am Sat. Afterwards is returning lessons sameday which costs 10$, 5$ for members. If you have your own equipment you can go to the Pasadena office to get a license to shoot which allows you to shoot freely at the range, police occasionally stop by so it is recommended to keep the license on your person.
You and your friends can bring your own archery sets.... One side of park you can go for a nice hike or jog.
