Update: Needed some meat in a hurry and was in the area so I stopped in Foodtown, I will say I had a totally different experience this time. The meat prices were reasonable and the service and staff was much better than my last visit. Staff was helpful and service was quick. I am happy I gave them another chance as they have a great selection of meat at reasonable prices. Thanks for getting it together Foodtown, you are in the Neighborhood and many want and need to support you! Old review: This was my third time at the store, I needed something quickly and they didn't seem too busy. This is an older store inside. Prices on some items were inflated, lots of meat items at reasonable prices. Unfortunately staff was very rude, especially the lady cashier. This is too bad because the majority of the customers are Africian American who live in the Neighborhood. They should be more appreciative and friendly to their primary customer base or leave the Neighborhood. I even over heard several people talking about their negative experiences with the staff which was pretty bad. Please get it together Food Town, you provide needed products to members of our Community, show some respect please..

Last minute resort for me, but I do shop here. ( not often tho). I'm not a big fan of some their products for the price.
