Stopped in on Saturday to get off my family’s plan and get my own line, and to get the new iPhone. They told me I’d have to go through the service line to get off my current plan and there was nothing they could do for me. They also told me …Lucas, The retail stores do not have the ability to switch you off your plan. They needed the account holder to call customer service to release your number into your name. By switching the account first it would prevent you from losing any promo's that you would have received when getting your new iphone. Sorry you felt we could not do anything for you. Management

Stopped in on Saturday to get off my family’s plan and get my own line, and to get the new iPhone. They told me I’d have to go through the service line to get off my current plan and there was nothing they could do for me. They also told me I couldn’t get a new phone until I transferred lines. I walked to AT&T. And in 10 minutes I had a new line and kept my same number. (And for cheaper). Verizon has Terrible customer service. No point of having a store if you can’t help your long time customers. I will never return.
