Dr. Crownover is very knowledge and takes an investigative full spectrum care approach. He leave no stone unturned and seeks to find the root of any medical issues and addresses them head on. He is very quick to respond to questions and requests through the portal. I’m super impressed.

I came to this clinic needing a great doctor, one that listened, and didn’t project their own issues on me. The minute I walked in I felt welcomed and the entire experience was amazing!!! Thank you for listening to my crazy! I enjoyed everything expect for when they weighed me 😂😂😂 but that’s my fault 😂 haha

Short answer? VERY. Also known as high blood pressure, hypertension is one of the big five causes of many top ten causes of death: heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, heart failure, and dementia. Along with high cholesterol, tobacco use, obesity, and diabetes, hypertension shortens lives and reduces quality of life. By itself, high blood pressure is responsible for 60% of strokes and 50% of coronary heart disease worldwide. Unfortunately, hypertension is also quite common. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that nearly half of American adults have hypertension. A proactive approach to treatment can make a significant difference. At Treasure Valley Family Medicine, our Meridian, ID family medicine doctor diagnoses hypertension, evaluates for contributing causes, and helps patients create an effective action plan to ensure that they enjoy the happiest, healthiest quality of life achievable.

Women’s’ health matters. A reliable family doctor, such as those at Treasure Valley Family Medicine (TVFM), can provide expert, comprehensive women’s health services. Important services include cancer screenings, contraception (IUD, oral pills, nexplanon, vaginal rings and more), sexual disease prevention and testing, pregnancy planning, and menopause counseling and treatment. While we partner with gynecologic surgeons when surgery is required, most needs are readily met in clinic. Direct primary care helps reduce costs and improve quality, for those without traditional insurance coverage. It is called primary care for a reason: Patients get access to a doctor who has the professional skills and medical experience to diagnose and treat the most common medical conditions. A direct primary care doctor can cover more than 95 percent of the average person’s total health care needs. Further, when unique care is required, a direct primary care doctor will be in the best position to refer you to the right specialist. Good question, however, like you car mechanic or dentist it depends. Are labs needed? If so which ones? Does a skin lesion need removal to rule out cancer? Are vaccines needed? Is an IUD being inserted for birth control? Are we doing a vasectomy? Is this a quick Accutane follow up? Or a well baby check without other concerns? Or an hour appt dealing with 26 separate diagnoses and involving a separate hour of research digging through historical medical records? Bottom line is each person has different needs and a median visit cost quote would be potentially very misleading.
