They just don’t care. If you make an appointment, it only assures that you will be seen but don’t expect to be seen on time. Go somewhere else such as Labcorp. At least they care a little. Shame on quest.

My experience at this Quest was great, surprised to see all the bad reviews. I had no issue making an appointment online, signed in without a problem and was seen within 15 minutes of my appointment time. My tech, Candace, was very sweet and gentle taking my blood. I would definitely go back. I think perhaps the negative reviews were written at the height of the Covid crisis; people need to remember that the techs are essential personnel and were likely overworked, tired and burnt out. Cut them some slack!

Melissa is an absolute treasure! She took great care of me during my appointment and made sure I was in great condition before I left. Truly, very thankful for Melissa's service.

An utterly abysmal experience at Quest Diagnostics Neptune. I showed up early for my appointment and checked on my phone, using a link Quest sent me via text message. The check-in page stated that I was welcome to wait anywhere: in my car, outside, or inside in the waiting room, and they would text when they were ready for me. It indicated that I had been checked in successfully. I initially decided to wait in my car, figuring that was the more comfortable and Covid-safe option. To pass the time I started reading online reviews of this facility -- something in retrospect I wish I had done earlier! I started seeing some unsettling common themes in the reviews, such as horrendous wait times. It was now 15 minutes past my appointment time and no text, so I decided to head inside to survey the scene. The waiting room was at capacity. No staff anywhere in sight. There was a digital kiosk along with a sign to check-in, for both walk-ins and appointments. I was unsure if I needed to use it, since I already checked-in via mobile, but figured might as well. Apparently the system was unaware that I had previously checked in via phone; it informed me that I was late for my appointment, would now be classified as a walk-in, and had an estimated 60-minute wait! With nobody at the front desk and staff now just appearing ephemerally, some of the patients began to swap Quest horror stories. The recurring theme of ridiculous wait times again emerged. Everyone seemed to be either resigned to receiving terrible service, or on the cusp of storming out in disgust. One diabetic elderly couple did just that when they found out they'd have to continue to wait to be seen, even though they had been fasting all morning and needed to eat. Eventually a staff member appeared and told me that since the system had flagged me as late for my appointment, I would have to wait an unknown amount of time. I explained that I had actually checked-in EARLY for my appointment and that their scheduling system was wrong, to no avail. I had only a limited time I could take off work for this, what should have been a very quick and simple visit. By this point more folks had given up and left, a cohort which I then joined. The time-sensitive sample which I was bringing for analysis is now useless. A complete and utter waste of time.
