First time experience. Sold out show, shoulder to shoulder. Crowds spilling into dedicated walk ways. One of the hottest days on record, 100 degrees inside. No air conditioning, not even a fan to move air. Within 5 minutes I was as wet as if I jumped into a pool. I have no plans on returning.

I love this place. It makes you feel like your at a big show, while being just small enough to be close to your favorite bands. Always great sound and light display. I've been to a few shows here and I'm never disappointed with this venue.

The music was fantastic however there was no AC and no fans so it was petty miserable however the day was a hot one at 114.
Barbara Shearer
Not much on the weird lines in the floor but fun venue!

They do and in my opinion it's very tasty!
Actually, bad question for here. Just ask the people letting you in the door and stop the passive aggressive complaints.
For sure you can take cell phones with cameras. They didn't appear to be looking for cameras and I didn't see any get blocked. Depending on how extensive your setup, you might want to call ahead
I don’t believe there is, but you could call the box office and check!
They are $40.
Limited seating, generally its first come first served for the balcony and bar area.
Its always faster to approach the bar than to wait for a waiter. Also when you go to the bar I have found raising my hand while holding a white napkin and looking at the bartender is the fastest way to get service. (It also never hurts to double up on your order if your someone who can throw em back easily. Then when your halfway through number 2 you are in position to order the next round.... And a fat tip at the beginning never hurts especially if you make sure to personally give it to them. )
So does it go by when you got tested or by when you get your results? For the 72 hour thing
And
They have food and table Service as well
For your own safety do not wear open toe shoes. Also no metal chains or metal studs or anything with spikes.
It's worth a shot; I dont see why not. Worse that could happen is you'll have to take them back to your car 😉
Pretty sure all shows are all ages now at Ace. Yes that one is all ages 👍
It wont end.
There is patio out front that can be used during the show, but No in and out privileges. With a full capacity night, it can be a little warm but doesn't get too hot at all. SacPD is usually on hand, or nearby for incident response, but don't usually work as a dui checkpoint, those could be anywhere downtown at anytime. Don't risk drinking and driving, if you stop drinking by the time the main act comes up, there are places to go after to finish sobering up. Inside there are pathways that they keep clear, but it can be packed on the main floor. Hope this helps!
No, there are security checks as well before you enter bags are checked.
I wasn't aware of that so thanks to Jesus for that sweet answer
Street parking, a couple paid lots near by. If you head out a block or two, you can find free street parking.
Ive seen 12+ shows there. Opening gig will start within 30 - 90 mins of opening. Weekdays 30 weekends 60-90
Just bring your phone no need to print them out
Yes, you can purchase tickets at the door.
Vip?? So "Diamond bar seats are at the top to your right as you walk into the GA standing area.. ADA(kings court rear )is on the left, next to ramp, Royal flush is immediately to the left of the stage...and Queens corner is the tiny little grand stand type seatings on the floor, also to your right, but not up stairs.. so if I where you, I'd have them explain where exactly V.I.P. Seating is..... purchasing a "Fast pass" puts you ahead of any line...ticket Master sells the premium seating, ADA is done through emailing the actual club. Hope this helps.
Because the covid restrictions have been lifted, you DO NOT need a covid test...welcome back to a mask free world!! Yay!!
Not sure. I'm not a part of the military.
My friends and I would get dropped off and we're able to go in, but that was like 2005.
The Dead Kennedy's show was 21 and over. When you go to buy tickets it should say if it's all ages or not
The test has to be taken within 72 hrs of your event.
Tickets are only $28.00 before fees, unsure what website you are on. Please go to www.Aceofspadessac.com or www.Ticketmaster.com and find the show you're interested in to find tickets. We are a Stand Room venue. VIP seating is limited and can be purchased via the Ticketmaster website or contacting Ace of Spades Premium Seating (via the Link on the Ace of Spades website).
Edgar, All shows at the venue are All Ages events unless otherwise denoted on the show information (Ticketmaster, Live Nation or the Ace of Spades website) off our sites.
I'm not sure. I'd say to ask the managers, or staff if there's a way to pass the gift on. Although, you can't really be sure it won't get stolen without handing it to the band directly. Which probably isn't as easy as it sounds. Best bet is to call over there and try to get ahold of some of the staff. Good luck and Merry Christmas!
Depending on the seats you got, I believe you will be in the back up top. There's a platform with a guard rail but it's a pretty decent distance away from the stage
At the venue's box office...Tues - Fri, noon to 6pm, Saturdays, 3-6pm. Closed Sunday and Monday
Limited ADA seating is available at the venue You're usually required to request seating for the area when you purchase your tickets.Your best bet is to arrive when the door's open, and ask about availability. There is a very limited amount of seating available on the main floor and balcony as well.
It looks like doors open at 7pm. Shows usually starts an hour after doors open
Most likely no bottle services. They do have 2 or 3 bars though and the lines at the bar were pretty quick.
That sounds really expensive. But that's what they're going for. Sometimes you can find deals on Groupon.
Doors open usually an hour before the show but details are always depending on each individual performer
Yes they do have seating but it's EXTREMELY limited. I think maybe 24 seats total. If you contact their box office during business hours they'll probably be able to give you more information.
Doors will open right at 7pm
(I am not affiliated with ace of spades)This isnt a question and it seems you're disappointed with the concert. You should know it's a gamble with a bar/concert. It's not guaranteed anything. Goodluck next go around.
They didn't when I was there
Contact the venue. I think that they promote "just getting started" bands as well as "established" ones.
There is also state building lot about a block and a half away that is a flat $5 after business hours with plenty of parking.
Any of the high letter blocks on that side of 15th Street should be reasonably open and walkable, and not so ultra-sketchy you wouldnt want to park there. So like T, U, or V would be what im talking about. Short blocks, decently well lit.
Couple hundred probably
I dont see why not it might cost you extra you should call them to make sure
I would be there by 5:30-6:00pm the latest. Seats are usually VIP, located upstairs and floor level bar left side of the stage. The concert venue is mostly standing.
It is all ages unless otherwise noted. Look on the website in the FAQ section and it states this.
They open about half hour before show you have to wait to be let in
You might want to call or email them directly, as they probably won't see your question here right away. Good luck!
You'd have to call them and ask. Sometimes they have some sometimes the show is just sold out.
There is metered street parking available but usually its hard to find. You may have to park blocks away. There is also the SEIU building between 13th and 14th on R st. Should be $5 from 5pm to 6am.
Representatives from ace will go out to line and ask if you are interested in the fast lane option before the show, if it doesnt sell out of course
Internet sales? Stuff kinda sucks.
I haven't been there in a while, but I was able to bring my point-and-shoot in the past. I think you just can't have removable lenses (professional cameras).
This place is generally not one to bring LED gloves into.
It's open Monday through Friday 12-6 and Saturday 3-6 but you can buy tickets for any show the day of whatever show they have going in that night also
Very true, you don't need any kind of ID to enter for a public event or concert ,unless you're buying alcohol at the bar :) have fun!
Like everybody else is saying, go to the website
Depends on the band but you can always get up feont if willing.
Anywhere you can find street parking nearby... But if you prefer not to hunt all day, there are a few pay-to-park areas within 5 minutes walk. There is a small lot directly across the street, but usually fills up pretty quickly. I typically park in the garage on the East side of 15th, on R street.
Is there another number to call. I tried but it says closed sat - sun
Usually they sell their tickets their Eventbrite site/app. You can also buy at the event buy that's if they are not sold out, which they can be on the more popular shows
It depends on the event. Generally theres only standing in front of the stage and some seats on the balcony. But they have events where they bring out chairs.
NO. They are not allowed in the building, so no, they are not allowed. Used to be able to bring them in, now they turn you away at the door.
They have seating and standing options
Me too. Stryper was my first real concert. Gonna be awesome. I always go in to Burgers and Brew next door and eat and grab a few cheap drinks. I go in right when the band I wanna see starts. No line..No waiting..and I can usually get up close anyway. Anywhere in that place is close. I like goin up in the balcony anyway.. great view of entire stage and not as crowded.
No, it is open whenever a show is booked and only for the show.
9:30pm
You basically get to jump in the front and you won't have to wait in that sometimes 2 block line
It's usually an all ages show/venue . They have wrist bands they give the adults for drinking.
Yeah they have a lot of different types
Probably not, but you can try a re-sell site like StubHub or Seat Geek.
Theres like 3-4 bars inside. So it's pretty big. They fit a lot of people inside the place for concerts
No all ages, you get a different bracelet for 21 and over for drinking
Box office hours are Tuesday through Friday 12pm to 5pm. Also, you may buy tickets at dimple records. Just call ahead of time to make sure they have them in stock.
Yep you can
Yes! Unfortunately while it is incredibly convenient to be able to buy tickets online, they do charge you for it. However it is sometimes worth it for shows you think you might not get a ticket in time for if you wait till you're at the venue.
The pic is probably in your email
Standing. Unless you pay for VIP or get there early enough to grab one of the few chairs available
Usually.. if the event your going to is popular I'd be there at least 30 min before opening... the line can get super long outside.
Tiers only refer to pricing not seats. All events are general admisson. Buy tickets early from the early tiers for the best price.
What about cameras?
I don't think Eventbrite offers refunds. You should visit the Eventbrite website or call their customer service number.
The food is above average for a bar / venue setting but no, it's not included in the ticket price.
I usually get there an hour or two early. If the lines aren't bad I'll pop into burgers and brew and have a quick bite or a drink. But like another commenter said it really depends on the popularity of the person you're seeing.
Look online to see if they're still selling tickets at the door, because they can sell out at anytime.
You may not leave the venue, but there is an outdoor smoking section similar to a bar smoking section.
I would get half an hour early if I was going to go there but starts at 5
There is street parking available, but it's metered and usually packed. Recommend carpooling if you can, or there's a public parking garage down the street, for a fee.
