Took my wife to the emergency room and received little to no help. Wife hasn't been able to eat, drink, or take any medication for the last 6 days. Her stomach has been rejecting everything. She was asked to provide a urine sample even though she has not been able to drink and in need of fluids. After taking blood, we were completely ignored and invisible. After we realized 3 hours after checking in, people coming in after us were being seen. I guess dehydration, and entire left side body pain isn't considered an emergency. We realized we were basically on our own. We left in an attempt to seek pain relief elsewhere. Please do not dismiss people who prefer to solve their problems with at home remedies or ask for help on the internet. At least there is a chance this way.

I have alcohol poisoning and they leave me sitting in their waiting room for 3 or more hours. I explained that I haven't been able to eat or drink for 3 DAYS! This is probably the worst hospital I've been too. The staff doesn't care, and they will leave you here all day waiting.

Brought my Father to SRMC ER for acute health ussues . I received assistance from the security staff getting my father out of the car and into the building. We were escorted to check in and he was taken directly back to a room. The staff treated him with dignity and respect. We were very impressed with the Provider Mike, he is very knowledgeable in every body system and function. He knew what tests to order to get an appropriate diagnosis for Treatment. And kept us informed every stepnof the way.Our nurses were phenomenal and care was great.

Tried calling the billing department to get a receipt for the $8,366.15 I had to pay before my surgery to get into the hospital.... 2 hours of being on hold later, I called the HR complaint line, checking to see if anyone actually worked there. I immediately get "Erin" on the phone and explain to her that I know I'm in the wrong department, but need a receipt for my insurance company. She tells me that she can't help me... I don't blame her.. if I was lazy, I would not try to help anyone either. So I'm on hold 90 minutes again (presently) still trying to get a receipt. This place is either understaffed or full of incompetency. I'm guessing the latter.
